WATCHING THE CORPORATIONS
Two Corporate Watch researchers are currently digging the corporate dirt in Palestine and have been publishing their findings here. While the mainstream press fixates on the building of a few settlement housing units in East Jerusalem, Israeli and international companies are making a killing operating in Israel's illegal settlements.
Corporate Watch researchers visited the British company, Lee Cooper's shop in the settlement of Ma'ale Adumim. Lee Cooper is one of the few British registered companies brazen enough to open a retail outlet on a settlement.
Corporate Watch also visited the settlement of Katzerin where international businesses, such as US companyhref="http://corporateoccupation.wordpress.com/2010/03/16/businesses-in-katzerin-industrial-zone-part-two/">Sealy,
are operating on occupied land. As the popular struggle against Israel's occupation, and the international movement for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel grows so does Israel's repression of Palestinian activists with links to the international movement. Corporate Watch's
analysis can be found href="http://corporateoccupation.wordpress.com/2010/03/02/wave-of-repression-shows-that-israel-is-beginning-to-take-our-movement-seriously/">here.
