| Introduction Degrees of Involvement is an extensive report by Corporate Watch, and commissioned by Greenpeace UK, investigating how the upstream (ie exploration + production) oil and gas industry is supported by UK universities. It covers research and technology development, graduate recruitment, transfer of staff between higher education and industry, and corporate donations and branding on campus. It also takes a comparative look at the support offered to the renewable energy industry, and examines the consequences of this imbalance on development of the energy market.
