works, who gets what, where, when and how?
• Examining key sectors e.g. dairy, organic, fruit and vegetable
and food processing.
• Profiles on the major food corporations including Tesco plc,
Unilever and Northern Foods are available at www.corporatewatch.org.uk
• Producing briefings - 'What's Wrong with Supermarkets?' is
available now and will be followed shortly by briefings examining
'The Real Causes of the Farming Crisis' and 'Corporate Organics'.
2. Building alliances
and networks
Organising a series
of regional forums bringing farmers, environmentalists and the wider
public together to explore food and farming issues in more depth.
3. Campaigning
To curb the power
of the corporations involved in the food industry.
