VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT
CORPORATE WATCH
"Corporations are much more than the purveyors of the products we all want; they are also the most powerful political forces of our time" Naomi Klein

An opportunity to work with a dynamic group while developing useful skills in campaigning, research, media production and marketing. Corporate Watch is developing a new website to provide relevant, focussed and critical information to grassroots campaigners opposing corporations. The site will feature accessible information on a number of companies and industries as well as campaign resources and the most important news stories relating to corporations. We also run campaigns, publish briefings and produce a magazine on specific corporations and relevant issues.

Our current website is at www.corporatewatch.org and our work on GMOs is at www.gm-info.org.uk.

We are looking for four volunteers, 3 days per week, for the following positions:
• campaigner / researcher for the energy team
• campaigner / researcher for the food & agriculture team
• general campaigner / researcher
• marketing person

The volunteers will be based in Oxford. Lunch is provided. Some understanding of ecological and social rights issues is important and some experience of campaigning is useful. Previous web experience is not necessary. Full training will be given.

For details and application form contact Melanie or Greg on 01865 791 391 or email mel@corporatewatch.org or greg@corporatewatch.org.
