DEFEND RADLEY LAKES
Squatters have been defending a house at Radley Lakes, near Didcot Power Station, in Oxfordshire. They are trying to stop nPower - who own the power station - dumping 500,000 tonnes of waste fuel ash (PFA) into a lake rich in biodiversity.
Today (24th Jan), Oxfordshire County Court ruled in favour of nPower. There is a call out for activists to help defend the squat. If you can get there, please call the site mobile: 0777 2055 384

Channel 4 News are running a vote for the Most Inspiring Political Figure of the year. Whilst this would normally merit a well-deserved raised eyebrow, we recognise that certain people probably don't deserve to win. See Channel 4 Political Awards for more details. You can enter by text, phone or email; the latter probably being the cheapest/free option! We didn't go to the WSF (CW have a no-flying policy), but don't let that put you off visiting our Corporate Watch blog for more news and recent updates!
