Out this month, BULB magazine comes with the tagline 'Bright Ideas From Underground'. It's aimed at teenagers, but it's hard to see how anyone remotely young at heart could resist this eclectic, bouncy and fascinating mag. Supported by John Pilger, written mainly by young people themselves and run by a not-for-profit co-operative, BULB manages to pull off what one delighted reader called 'a mixture between Heat magazine and real politics'. Its aim, say the team, is simple. "To let the world know that we care and that we are willing to do something about it".
